I'm so glad that SPRING is finally here!! Softball has been going well lately, considering I missed last week - I am glad to be back... we had a game tonight @ Hayfield and we won 6-5... but it wasnt easy - it was a close one and in the bottom of the 7th there were 2 outs and the girl that was up had hit an over the fence homerun her last at bat so we were a little nervous - - thankfully that inning our outfield and Ashley, Britt, and Carly brought that one in for us - - it was a good game and I'm SOOOO glad we won

     Other than that - - I just got back from vacation on Sunday which was soooo wonderful - - it was great to lay by the pool all day and do nothing and then get to go out at night and see all the crazy Mexicans - - it was holy week down there so everyone was getting a little crazy... haha - it was fun to have my parents all to myself and just be able to relax with them vs. being at home and having everyone be tired at the end of the day and a little on end, or yelling about school work or something foolish like that... the spring weather was really nice to come home to and so was Trav - he picked us up at the airport which was exciting it was totally like a movie scene when the girl gets off the plane and then jumps into her boyfriends arms - - it was classic, and I loved it haha .... also Monday my mom went up and got my Grandma Malterud so she is staying with us for a while - - which i love because she folds my clothes every day and makes my bed - - she's amazing... at age 85 she is still cleaning, cooking, and sewing all day long - - she's crazy - - trust me on this one....

     Things in school have been going well too I guess - 4th quarter is going fast and according to my planner I have 29 days left of high school!!! (not including weekends) CRAZY!!!! haha... I'm kind of excited but kind of not because who wants to go out into the real world and try to make something of themself? I mean COME ON! I'd much rather stay in high school the rest of my life hahaha

     Other than that I'm REALLY busy - - trying to figure out graduation party stuff and gonna get invitations soon then have to send all those piles of poo out to everyone haha... also tryin to make sure i have everything done or scheduled for prom - - ahh crazy crazy.... I'm going with Trav again this year, wonderful Trav...... he's pretty great - - last night he drove over here just to hang out with me for 45 min and to tuck me in - - and when you're driving like 15 min to see eachother it can be a little bit not as worth it when you are almost driving more than you are seeing eachother - - but he's worth it obviously.... like earlier stated he picked us up at the airport and he even brought us a bunny and candy for easter - - how nice.... and like a week before I left I got a carnation from the kid and some candy - - sometimes I think he's crazy but I absolutely love him... we have definitely grown closer lately and this time around I think we are much better at problem solving with the tiny problems that have come up.... I also think we're both in it for the long haul - - my family considers him part of the family and is even including him in our discussion of my grandfather's land (my grandpa left my family and i about 25 acres of lake shore and we are sharing it as a family - - and deciding if we will split it or build one large cabin for all of us to stay... I hope its the second one) and he gets to be a part of it... this is not a light deal either - - this discussion often brings tears, fights, and the occassional person walking out on us when it comes up - - it's very important to my family and is never taken lightly.... so now my family is almost complete with 12 members (13 including my nephew) and I could never wish for a better family.... it only keeps growing and I absolutely love them... we are having game night on Friday with everyone which is great, and on Saturday night we're all going out to eat and to Beetle's bar and grill for a b-day bash for my mom! My mother is absolutely beautiful for being 53 - - I would be happy if I looked as good as her when I'm 50 but I can only hope to be so lucky... and although my parents seem old, their still younger looking than many parents and young at heart - - I love them too, more than anything

     So now as I come into the last 2 months of my high school career I am so pleased that things in my life have finally fallen into place - - things couldn't get much better..... unless I didnt have to take out any college loans and didnt have any debt from college.... then i'd REALLY be happy - - but I'm shooting for realistic goals here..... it feels good to have the things that matter most to me right where i want them and to even have the things that are less important be good - - I'm loving life right about NOW!
